Ok, so I know what I would like to give as a favor- a spoon rest. I’m going to give one per couple/family because I feel like the same couple/family wouldn’t need more than one. The problem is: how am I going to distribute them? I can’t really keep them on the table between place settings because I’m not doing assigned seating, and some tables are going to have the couple and their children, so that won’t work. Then, I’m thinking FH and I would give them out at some point during the night, but I don’t know if that will happen with all that will be going on. Then, I’m thinking I will leave them on a table for when people leave, but how will they know to take just one per couple. Any suggestions? It’s driving me loco. TIA.

I would still put them out on the tables beforehand; give the RH ahead of time the specific number of favors each table gets. The people at the table will figure it out!
We've been to lots of occasions where the table has X amount of favors and we just look around and figure within seconds 'oh, it's one per couple', or 'oh, the kids don't get one', etc.

my cousins wrapped thier favors and attached names of the guest that were getting them at the table. That way you knew where to sit too when you go to the table.

This would work just fine unless you happen to have members of the same family sitting at different tables......like if u have mom and dad at one table and their kids at another.....Just something to think about.
