This was our first choice.. We are not getting married there but have been to two weddings there.. This place is BEAUTIFUL and the food is excellent. Good choice!!!

I am getting married at the Glen Island Harbour Club on Friday, Oct. 22
I'll let you know how it goes. The weddings you went to there were nice? Were they in the terrace room (the bigger reception room with the windows)? I am concerned that the cocktail hour room is going to be too small for my 220 guests

Me!! Also, one of the attorneys I work with is getting married there this weekend! I told him that he's my guinea pig and I'll expect a full report when he gets back from his honeymoon I'll share any info I find out.

I am not sure what room you are in (oct22nd bride) but we have the room that has the windows for the reception. The coctail hour room doesn't have wondows...and i was afraid it seemed small too. let me know
I love glen island sooo much!!!

We will be getting married there on Nov 7th...only 3 weeks to go!!! We will have our ceremony, cocktail, and reception upstairs!!! Can't wait!!

I had my wedding there on Oct. 22. Everything went perfectly. The food was great; the place was beautiful; and the staff bent over backwards to make sure that everything was taken care of. If you have any questions, fm me. But you have absolutely NOTHING to worry about if you are getting married there:)

I have the same room for 10/08 and the same fear!! Was the room too small?? Please tell me! I might get out of the contract! Is the dance floor with a band on it big enough??

this post is 3 years old so not even sure if shes still around anymore...Ive seen pics of weddings there and you should be fine though...if anything post a new thread to ask this question but the dance floor seemed like a good size
