Glitter Shells

I saw christmas ornament that were all real shells with glitter and they were gorgeous. So now I want to figure out how to take my pretty shells I bought in Florida and glitz them up for my formal wedding. How do you think I can put glitter on my shells? Any suggestions?

there is floral glitter that comes in a spray can (kinda like spray paint) it should work for ya but i would try it out on 1 first and it can be very messy since there isn't a whole lot of control over the spray.

what about spray glue and glitter?

you just spray it on wait a few seconds for it to get sticky and then roll them around in some fine glitter.

i think that would work

sounds like a great idea too!!

Acutally, I just thought of something after re-reading this post...
There is a clear glitter acrilic paint that you can get. I used it on the top coat of my WE DO letters. It's very sparkly and pretty.

I have donne this to over 1,000 starfish and shells already...

You have to get the powder dust glitter. Use clear glue, dip and viola...all done :) Michaels sells it...its a clear tube (kind of looks like a shot glass tube) and a pink top.
