Global Warming

It's sad because Global Warming is the reason they just added polar bears to the 'threatened species' list. The ice in the arctic is melting and the polar bears are drowning. That's just ONE species effected.

YEah that seriously is one of the worst...it makes me so sad that they jsut swim around everywhere trying to find ice to rest on and they cant

FH got it for me for Christmas- the packaging is AWESOME!!! Its all biodegradable and compostable. The plastic is pressed from corn...its really cool. I'm not a big Gore fan myself but I did think he did a really good job of putting all the info together. I wasn't too happy he flew around giving the speach in his private jet...which is probably one of the wosrt offendoers of spewing ggs all over the place but hey the message was a good one so if u can ignore it than definately worth seeing.

oh wow gotta go get it...I always talk about this and tell Fh things we can do, even little things...Such as lower watt light bulbs, setting refrigerator lower, not doing as many loads of wash and a bunch of other things...I actually have a blog with this info on myspace...You obviously know its so there will be less Co2, and he thinks i am crazy...but he is the recycle king so thats good...i am gonna make him watch this... I loved 20/20 special with steve hawkings

No Tilde your right....global warming isn't one day of freak weather, but the fact that this is the hottest December on record and the years jsut keep getting hotter and hotter is not a good sign...scientist have been predicting this for years

its a fun title...LOL

I'm really a moron

I think it is so sad that the Polar Bears are becoming endagered. Any animal for that sake.
Let me say no more to not get into the political parts of what goes on.

oh boy- jess you gotta be all over this one...

ETA- ok I went back and you ARE all over this one

I am definitely not too informed on the subject - but what i mean is that day to day temperature is not really caused by global warming ( yet!) - for example, it is not hot right now because of global warming . . . look at the terrible snow storms in the west!!!

all of those facts are really interesting though and i do plan to see the movie - honestly the only reason i havent is because i hate al gore so that is kind of stopping me BUT i do think that i should see it anyway!

Tilde- u can borrow the movie =)
joey & i watched it and it really freaked us out--it was good and simple enough to understand lol
