Gloves.. fingers or not?

Im having an autumn wedding.. late October.. It will be a tad bit chilly.

I'm thinking of having gloves on... but wonder if fingerless is the way to go.

If not, do you wear regular gloves and put your ring on top?

Definitely fingers. I think they make bridal gloves that open to put on the ring so you don't have to take the gloves off during the ring exchange.

I definately liek fingerless..I didnt see any with teh ring finger open taht I liked, so I will have to take off my glove during teh ceremony..i dont care though..itll take two seconds and then its done. I like the look of full gloves. I did look at the ones with teh finger open, but tehy all had a print or something..my dress is busy enough as it is..I wanted just plain gloves.

I like fingerless for a spring or summer wedding personally. You can wear fingers & put the ring over it, but if it is a really shiny satin it may slip or not fit right. I say try it & see what feels comfortable for you.

BTW.... I love that dres

I think gloves with fingers is best...but I don't know how you'd get the ring on...sorry!!!

I'm getting married in early December and I am wearing gloves with fingers. I will just slip them off to exchange rings and my moh can hold onto them for me. Then I'll put them back on later.

I think it is preferance. I like fingerless better (still in search of organza ones).

You can do either. they have finger ones with an opening to slide your finger out, if you prefer them. Or just take them off during ring ceremony.

Definitely with fingers. You should get the one with the removable ring finger so that you can easily give him the finger....

Im terrified if i wear gloves the ring will fall off.. but I cant put gloves over my ring... because it has such a high profile.

But I love the gloved look.. call it the old southern lady in me.. so i figured finger less..

I dunno..

I'll have to try those gloves with finger access. I think it may look werid putting a ring on with a finger of the glove dangling.. ya know?

Nah, I've seen it done and it's not all that noticeable. I have a problem with fingerless gloves because to me, it's like, what's the point? And it seems very 80's to me. But hey, whatever floats your boat. Why don't you try some on the next time you go to try on your dress and see what looks best.

Are you planning on wearing the gloves for just the ceremony or for the entire wedding?
