I bought invites that have some assembly required, The invite part of it needs to be somehow attached to the pocketfold invite, (in my album). The woman who I purchased them from said to use double sided tape. Is this right or should I use glue? What kind of glue?
Be careful with regular glue, sometimes leaks through the paper and can get sloppy. you can use the glue dots (they're like really super sticky double sided stickers). They hold really well. I know they have them at craft stores, AC Moore & Michaels. Maybe also at Staples.
Thanks so much

Re: Glue for invites??? I need help
We used Tape Runners, also worked well---like glue dots but it's in a strip that's on like a roll.....also in scrapbooking department!
im a fan of glue dots. quick and easy... and clean

Re: Glue for invites??? I need help
we used glue dots for our carlson pocketfolds from Michaels and there is also double sided tape squares in the scrapbook section. Both worked well. I found the glue dots a little more easy to work with in case u needed to make a slight adjustment with the placement....if that makes sense.

I used double stick tape for mine and highly recommend using that instead of glue.

Don't use glue! Use double sided tape. I had a horrible experience with my e-invites!

Re: Glue for invites??? I need help
I went through the same thing with my invites. I used double sided tape to secure everything and it worked great. I will be using glue dots to close the pocketfolds. The woman I bought my invites from told me that the glue dots tend to dry out a bit so if you use them to secure the pocketfold closed, when your guest goes to open them they will 'pop' open more easily.
