Glue ? for my Supper Scrappers

Ok Ladies, I got a bunch of supplies thanks to the great Odd Lot and Michaels sales and I am ready to start scrapping.

My question is - What do you use for glue? I have been using regular glue sticks for the recipie swap. Are these good for scrapping?

Personally, I dont like glue sticks. They dry up and your stuff falls off the pages. I use this type of glue 'stick'. Its made for paper and I think it holds the best!!

You can use acid free glue sticks (you get them in staples, michaels, etc) to get started.

I also use glue dots (craft stores), tape runner (creative memories), glue pen (craft stores), etc. There's dozens of types- I started with a glue stick and that is the one I reach for the most.

I also use the ZIG glue that Lisa Rose uses. I stopped for a while but went back because I am very happy with it. Bottom line - no matter what adhesive you use you have to make sure that it's acid free - that's important.

Lisa, I love my glue dots too. I use my glue stick too but very spordically.

Ok - so I need that acid free glue stick or glue dots. Back to Michaels - too bad Odd Job dosen't have them.

Another Question if you dont mind. I have some of those Rose Art Pens for detailing, journeling etc. Can I use Oil Pastels as well? I just picked some up. I guess I should just get started.
