I asked my makeup artist about this- she highly recommends microdermabrasion to prepare your skin for the wedding. She's a celebrity makeup artist...beyonce, the today show, etc so I trust her! :) Hope this helps.
I've had several peels... make sure you go to a dermatologist to do it.. not just anyone.. also be prepared for your face to sting and peel slowly for apprx the next week or so... do it a month before your wedding.. not after

I don't recommend peels, unless you're going to a very experience dermatologist, it could really be harsh on your skin, I suggest a really good at home microdermabrasion about twice a week, I know of one if you want to FM me
