Anyone know of good GMAT review courses (besides Kaplan) or GMAT tutors?
TIA!

Re: GMAT Review
I took the GMAT 2 years ago and to be honest I just used the books (barron I think). It was helpful to me and I took the practice tests. It worked out fine and I am now in my 4th semester of Grad school. 2 More to go!

Re: GMAT Review
I didn't take a course either - just took many practice exams. I also remember having a CD with lots of practice exams b/c it is all on the computer now. I took it back in 2000 in prep for B-school...

Re: GMAT Review
DH took the GMAT and used a computer cd to practice. I can't remember the name of it, but I am sure that there are several out there. It seemed to work. He scored in the top 1%.
Can you tell I am a proud wife.

Re: GMAT Review
I took a course that was offered through NYU School of Continuing Ed- it was worth the $ and it wasn't as much as Kaplan- it was about $500 i think..
It helped me brush up on the math.

Re: GMAT Review
I took Kaplan, but Princeton Review also has GMAT courses. Some local colleges and universities offer 6-8 week classes.

Re: GMAT Review
i just did the books and CD reviews. I think i bought 2 different brands (prob Barrons and Princeton review), to get a variety of questions..
A class may force you to study if you wouldn't on your own - surely.. But you can just do the CD questions in the book and you'll be fine also..
