I'm going to have to convince FH to bring the laptop home more nights than just Friday so I can catch up with everyone. I will miss you so much! Can you girls keep me updated on things once in a while - like Wedding of the Year and the 05 GTGs?

The new job: still in HR but more on the generalist track - I am in Compensation right now and I was itching to get out and broaden my scope. I'll be downtown now...anyone work near Wall Street?

Absolutely!!

Tell him you need the laptop otherwise HE'LL have to listen to all your wedding ideas!

My plan for the next 2 days is to stay as under the radar as I can at work until I leave for Miami (for a wedding) Thursday morning. I had to send out my 'vacation reminder' email this morning though. Hopefully that won't inspire them to give me work . I feel sneaky

OMG - you all have me in tears. I was just saying how when I got the offer my first thought went to all of you and how I wouldn't be able to hang out here as much.

So that just means I'll be the crazy girl bumping old posts. But on the flip side I'll be even more excited about GTG and seeing all of you!

Conggrats Ang! That's wonderful news!

I am getting ready to SEND OUT MY INVITATIONS this week

It's all so CLOSE now! It's starting to fly!

One word of advice for everyone: Do things early ... and not just wedding things ... I will be moving into a new apartment after I get married and I am current;y cleaning out every file, draw, closet in my current home ... I am bringing things over little by little and finding places for everything .... I am washing & scrubbing windows and molding and fixing little things .... It's a lot of work but sooo worth it!
Even if you already life with FH, clean out your stuff to get ready for your shower and your 'new life'! I peeked at my registry (I know I am baaaaad) and almost everything is off it ... cleaning out FH & my stuff now will help when we have a ton of new stuff to bring into the house! I am a mean little cleaning machine right now!
