GMB!!! QOTD 11/10

Hey ladies!!!

Well it is a CRA PPY rainy day outside, but it is also a 3 day weekend!!!!!!!

QOTD: What was the very first wedding related thing you did after you got engaged???

Mine: Joined LIW hahahahaha

Next on the list was dress shopping. I saw this dress I loved and was driving my mom nuts so she was like 'OK LETS just GO to shut you up' hahahhaa

We booked our hall first....

Then I went looking for bm dresses (my MOH was/is pregnant)

Good Morning Ladies!!

I'd have to say the first thing I did was dress shopping as well. I went to Chicago to see my MOH the weekend after we got enaged. While I was there, we went and tried on a lot of dresses. The first thing FH and I did together was book our venue.

We got engaged on a cruise, so the minute we got back, we started looking for venues. it was the 1st thing we booked... right after that, the church.

Ran to the hospital to tell my father. He was unconscious and probably had zero awareness at that point. But Id like to believe, that on some level, he knows now and is proud. Even if it is from heaven.

Bought the ultimate wedding planner..we got engaged on vacation in california, the next day we were shopping and wet into a bookstore..i ran straight to the wedding section

Set the date with the church and then looked for reception halls. It wasn't right after...more like 4 months later. FH made me promise we wouldn't do any wedding 'stuff' until after I finished my masters program. (We were engaged in Dec and I graduated that May)

I must have really bugged him to get him to start doing wedding things before May!

we waited almost a year before doing anything - - - then the first item was the reception hall.

We got engaged 11/6/04, and then that Christmas/New Years we booked our Hall. Then when we were back in NY for Easter, we booked our DJ and Photographer.
