GMs shoes - patent leather or not?

Question: should the GMs be wearing patent leather shoes or regular shoes?

TIA!

it's up to your liking. My GM did not wear patent leather. It looked fine but I am not a fan of patent leather!!

i think it depends on what you like. i don't really like it at all, BUT it looks really sharp with the tuxes so we're getting them.

Ah, my rentals come with patent. I don't really have an option on this one. Oh well.

my GMs tuxes only come with patent leather also but i could always have the Gms wear their own black shoes

BUT

that could be a disaster and i dont trust them enough to wear nice shoes!

Patent leather shoes are suppose to be worn with tuxes.... it looks very silly if they are not
