Re: Goal Weight
You know what I just wrote a negative post. I think I will lose the 10 pounds, and I know everyone else will lose their weight too. I've decided that by telling myself I won't, then I really won't. So, I've decided to be positive, and tell myself, yes, it will happen.

I can care less about weight.. I have alot of muscle mass. I want to loose inches!!!
Im loosing it slowly.. I need to tone up my arms
OMG, Janie...me too!! My dress doesn't fit around my chest because I gained 2 inches (no where other than my chest) and my dress can't be let out! They have to put a corset in and change the back of the dress I'm hoping to lose some inches by the wedding by pure inactivity. I apparently worked out too much and really bulked up without realizing it.

From the looks of this picture I NEED to tone up my arms ASAP!!!
I'd like to lose 5 more, and maybe tone up a little (I have been so lazy about going to the gym).

Re: Goal Weight
This may not be so great with those of you who have a short time before your goal, but in the last two years I lost 50 lbs. slowly and steadily by first walking, then jogging and now running on a regular basis. I find now that I can eat just about anything I want without any repercussions. . . that's not to say I eat whatever I want all the time. . . but with this stress I'm tempted Anyway, my point is. . . make a goal and then go about it sensibly. . . you'll get there. . . you might just have to be flexible about the timing if you have any hopes of enjoying and I don't know about the rest of you. . .but no makes me and
Good luck to all of you!! But don't put so much emphasis on it that you lose sight of the excitement and anticipation leading up to the day! --jennifer
ETA: I lost most of the weight, about 30 lbs. say, in the first 6-8 months. . . so those of you with a bit of time or smaller goals. . .you can definately do it. .. GO FOR IT!!!

Thank you! I've been following a modified 'Cindy' diet....oatmeat EVERY morning
mid-morning fruit snack or 100 calorie pack (nabisco)
Lunch: lean cuisine meal or, low-cal turkey/ham & low-cal cheese on low-fat bread or soup packet
Mid-afternoon snack: fruit or 100 cal packet
Dinner: Lean cuisine or pasta w/ sauce, or grilled chicken & brown rice/veggies, (any sensible dinner)
Late night snack: WW ice cream or 100 calorie packs
I also joined the gym about a month ago.
However, I do tend to lose weight quickly, BUT I will gain weight just as quickly
