God forbid people RSVP ontime!!! RANT(edited)

I mean it's ridiculous!!! My RSVP date was yesterday and I am still waiting on like 20pp!! Sorry 20 inconsiderate people. I mean the wedding is in 2 WEEKS!!! I need a definite number here. I am doing all the cooking and have to confirm the tables ,I need to know whether or not it's for 60 people or 80!!! That is a big difference, and I don't have the money to throw away. It's really aggravating and like I said it's not like I have another month or two, I have to confirm the tables and buy the food at the end of next week!!! What's wrong with these people, it's not like they were invited to a kiddie party at Chuck E Cheese it's my freakin wedding that I am busting my arse to put together so quickly the least they could do is RSVP on time!!! So today I had to call and leave numerous messages in a super perky happy voice( trying desperately to mask my contempt) inquiring on whether or not they would be attending. So now with my wedding fast approaching and many things still to be done I am now reduced to 'cold calling' extended family and friends I feel like a bill collector!! Well thanks for listening!!!

Sorry I wasn't that clear,because we planned to wedding so quickly we requested people CALL to RSVP. Our number was on the invite!!! That's why I'm so angry!! All these people had to do was call!

It will be ok. You're superbride afterall! I still haven't figured out how you are doing all of this in such a short period of time. You're the greatest!

You'll get them... they probably RSVP'd yesterday (on your due date)... give them until Saturday - if you don't hear from 'em ... start callin'!

I know, I don't understand how hard it is to put an envelope in the mail or at least call. I can't stand anyone anymore. I'm alwasy so happy & calm, nothing ever bothers me but this wedding process has made me so bitter. No one helps with anything & I'm tired of getting ripped off & taken advantage of.

You just have to start calling people who didn't respond & hear their lame excuse for not giving you an answer yet.

It is frustrating. Less than half our guests responded on time.

Don't worry you will get them. Even if it's on the way to the reception to pay and give your final count. Just like me!

And it's crazy because they are not all extended family, two of the people who haven't RSVP'd are Fh's closest friends!!! One is even supposed to be his witness!!
