GOD GIVE ME THE SERENITY!!! VENTTT
Okay so I LOVE my dress. It is MY dress. I had that this is it moment when I put it on and I had to have it. Well, the dress was discountinued and it was actually the last day they were having it in the store. When I ordered the dress I made extra sure to ask the lady are you sure they will have this dress and I will be able to get it. So she went in checked the inventory and said yes they have it your size, you got it. Even with that I said are you sure and she said oh yes. That was 2 months ago.
So fast forward--- since then all my bm's have recieved theit dresses which we ordered on the same day. Now I know bridal dresses usually take a little longer so I didn't think too much of it although I've had the idea of it being discountinued in my head and not being able to get it. So I'm getting a manicure about 2 days ago and I spark up a conversation with a perfect stranger about weddings. She began sharing her experiences with me and said if I can give you any advice it is to lie about the date of your wedding to make sure they get it in in enough time to do non-rushed fittings. So I'm like this must be a sign but I still didn't say anything. Well today I go to pick up my sisters BM dress which has been sitting in the store for about 3 weeks already and the woman we purchased the dresses from is there. So she asked if I was there to pick up my dress, which I answered no. She then looked sort of puzzled and said oh you haven't gotten it yet? Which again I also answered no. Then she asked oh have you changed the date of the wedding? Which I also answered no. Then she sort of scurried off with another customer and I am left standing there getting really anxious. So another lady who went into the back to get my sister's dress came out and I just through the situation about my dress out there. So she went in the computer to check it, with this she replied, 'Well they haven't changed your delivery date yet it's scheduled for June 25th so that's a good sign but you never know ya know if we don't end up getting it you can just pick out something else.' With this I just turned and walked out because I thought I might go into a tailspin and got in the car with my mom and went off. I'm going to Alaska June 27th for a month so that dress better be in.
All I have to say is if I don't get that dress I might kill somebody.
