I took pics with them. My godmother did communion at church as a eucharistic minister & my godfather did a reading.

both godmothers are doing readings at the ceremony... one is doing the new testament and the other is reading the prayer of the faithful (i think lol, whatever reading comes after the old and new test.)

We are not particularly close with our godparents, so I don't think we will do something special to recognize them at the wedding. But, I think the idea of them doing a reading is a nice way to recognize them, simple and easy (the less stress the better!)

I am going to ask my Baptismal godmother to do a reading, and my my confirmation godmother to do the other reading. I don't speak w/ my godfather. FH's godparents are married and we are going to ask them to present the gifts (Eucharist & wine) down the aisle in the church.

I had my goddaughter do a reading at the church.
I wanted my Godfather to walk my mother down the aisle if my grandfather was unable to (he has trouble walking) but she completely disregarded my wishes and had her brother walk her. I didn't know until I got my proofs back.
My godmother didn't come to my ceremony and came to my reception late and left early.

Get them boutonnieres & corsages?
My Godmother passed away but I am getting my God father a boutonniere and I may ask him to walk my mother down the aisle in the processional since my Godfather is her oldest brother.

My uncle/Godfather will do a reading. We aren't close to my Godmother anymore, haven't seen her in a long time.
Godparents of FH are gone otherwise we might have had one of mine and one of his do readings.
