Going around to tables.....

Original post by msflesch

Is everyone going around to each table at the wedding? If so, how much time do you spend at each table? I think I might end up with 18 tables....seems like it could take a while to do this.

Also- we are not going to our cocktail hour.

the best thing i think we did was to go to our CH. we got to enjoy every minute of our reception. from the minute we walked in to the minute we walked out i was on the dance floor enjoying myself dancing with almost every guest. fh was easily ****** in to talk to guests but i just danced with them as a way of spending some time with them and still enjoying my reception.

We tried as best we could to go around at cocktail hour.
Once the recption started there was literally no time to go around to the tables.
We were dancing, the entire night, we stopped to eat something and a few people came up to us to give us the cards.

I wanted to see more people but the night goes by so fast, i wasnt even thinking about going to the tables

We will probably end up going to our cocktail hour cause I don't want to spend tha tmuch time at each table. But we will go around and spend a few min at each one.

we ate first and then went to every table as they were serving different courses - it seriously wasnt big deal and we were done before the entree was even served. we had 150 people.

do it, it is rude not to. if you have to skip anyone, skip the friends tables they wont care.
