Going away outfit.

Im getting married in June and Im not sure what I want to wear as the going away outfit. What did others wearing?

Im not sure if i should wear a dress, or capris or pants..

If leaving the reception, well, I won't be leaving the reception until the LIGHTS COME ON!!!! lol lol lol AND THEN, we're heading out downtown to party too!! IN MY DRESS!!! lol lol lol

For the honeymoon, I'll be wearing a cut capri set

i left in my wedding dress! but we were the last to leave our reception, along with our BP, so it wasn't like a big send off.

I haven't really heard of anyone changing into a 'going away outfit' in a real long time..the only places I've ever heard about or seen it was in the movies, Steel Magnolis and Father of the Bride.

I figured you have to change the outfit so FH can give his tux to someone to return since we are leaving for the honeymoon..

How else is it going to go back?

Are you planning to leave before your guests?

I'll be among the last - if not the last - to leave my reception... and I wouldn't change out of my gown to leave even if I were going to leave earlier.

I say wear whatever you want, though...
