So as many of you know...i've been having such a tough decision trying to decide on a reception hall. We're on a VERY tight budget! The swan club gave us the BEST price out of everyone and i really liked the grounds and the room when we went. I had my heart set on Westbury Manor and was trying every way possible to work that out (try dropped their price and gave us a GREAT deal; but it was still over budget).
SO now i've made an appointment to go back to the Swan Club and discuss ALL costs with Jordana.
I know i postd before about settling-i hope that's not what i'm doing...i did really like the swan club-it was my 2nd choice.
Being that this is my 2nd visit and the most serious one (will decide to book after this weekend). Is there ANY questions I should be asking or anything else that I should pay attention to??

Make sure that you try to get them lower in price. Maybe if you get them below budget it will make you feel better about picking the second choice. I think that if you focus on the fact that you are marrying the man that you love, than it wont matter where you have it. Also, no matter where you have it, you will have a GREAT party!

i would tell them flat out exactly how much you can afford to do and tell them you really can't go higher and you want them to meet that price. that will avoid you spending more than you can afford to, and if you're frank and strong-willed, they'll know not to mess around with you.

Thanks! Their price is well within our budget-we never even tried to negoitate b/c we were comfortable paying that amount. Maybe i'll check & see if that's the BEST they can offer us...or if they could throw anything extra in at the same price.
