That is sooooooo cute!! I love precious moments. Im familiar with that piece which leaves me wondering how on earth is something like that so heavy balancing so evenly on the cake? I figure it would sink....

Re: Going cake crazy
I love the detail I think it is adorable but I just have no idea wat to do about the whole cake thing considering I don't eat pastries. I am completely lost I don't know what kind of cake to get or what kind of filling.

I love the ribbon effect of the icing.
Does your FH eat cake? What does he like?
Canoli cream is poluar, I don't liek it in cake, even though I like cannolis. I had a good one at a recent weddingthough. You could also do buttercream with fruit in it on the inside. Did your bakery give you a list of options.
the look matters a little, but I wouldn't go too overboard. It will be on display all night, but in the end it is food & will be eaten.
Don't stress too much over a design, if you don't want to.
if you don't eat cake, are you doing the traditonal feed each other a bite part?

Re: Going cake crazy
Fh definitely like cake more than me but he has no idea about caoli filling from cranberry filling. We are doing the traditional feed each other a bite part. I just have to do some cake research, I definitely want it to look prety, but you are absolutely right that people have to eat it so taste is very important. hat so I look for to find a good cake?

Re: Going cake crazy
well, if you're going to spend so much money on a cake, I would hope that people would eat it!
Plus, you don't want people to snub you because your wedding was going just fine until you served them rotten cake JK!!!!
I love the precious moment, though--it's adorable!!
