make sure you know about where your hair will be for when they measure the length of the veil
after they measured and ordered my sisters veil, she changed her hair style and the veil was in the back of her head... when she put the blushed over her hair to cover her face at the church it was way tooo short bc she was orignially wearing the veil higher on her head.

Make sure you get a headpiece that will go with the style you want for your hair. I ended up having to change mine because I bought it before my hair trial and it didn't work. It's okay becasue I ended up hating the tiara anyway and I had a reason to buy a new pretty one!
As for the veil...try on some different ones but keep your dress in mind. I brought that little baggie with the extra beads/crystals from my dress so I could match it up with the edging of my veil.
