Going for my NW chop tonight!! w/pic

Im just going to get some layers and give it more of a style because right now it looks like a rats nest lol.

Nothing wrong with that!! If I had spent time specifically growing my hair I probably wouldn't have want to cut it either! But since mine was always long I was just ready for a change. Your hair looks great long - keep it that way for a while

Have you considered a keratin treatment? I did it and it worked WONDERS!!! It's like a protein for the hair that makes it silky and smooth and easier to manage. Also, it's not a straightener but it kind of relaxed my crazy waves, which was nice.

That sounds like a good idea. Where can i get it? Any beauty supply? I've done hot oils but never noticed any differences to be honest.

LMAO. Yeah, I routinely set my hair on fire to keep it healthy and smooth lolol This you actually have to go to the salon for. They set it in the hair and leave it for 30 minutes. It's a little pricey though, but the effects are supposed to last for about 4 months. Also, you use a keratin shampoo, which extends the life of the treatment. My cousin is a stylist and gave it to me back in July and my hair is still sooo silky and easy to manage!
