I have always been up and down with my dress! It was the first dress I tried on and bought it on the spot. FH wanted to pay for it as a gift to me, so he did. After that, I started hating the color (champagne).....and lately I have been hating the bow and how it ties in the back!!! Its too late to change anything (FH would freak since he paid it off and its technically a gift, plus it would be out of budget to get another dress).I am stuck with a dress that I 'like' and am slowly starting to resent! Also, watching Say Yes to the Dress and Girl Meets Gown hasn't helped me much either! I end up wanting all these dresses I cannot have!
I need your opinions!!! What do you honestly think of my dress? Is it not was bad as I think? Should I have the bow removed from the back? I havent had any other women (besides my MOH) see it in person and she didn't seem too impressed.

Your dress is gorgeous! However, you have to feel comfortable wearing it. If you're not crazy about the bow, take it off and see what it looks like without it.
I agree. or maybe you can change the color of it. Could a new sash make it into the budget if it had to? FYI, there's a maggie dress where it comes with a sash, but really, it's just a wide satin ribbon... RIBBON... that might be in the budget if you wanted to play around that way....

This is a normal feeling. I feel like that too sometimes!! Try it on again maybe to remind you why you love it.

I'm cosigning with the other ladies.
Your dress is really beautiful. Parts I like:
the bow is really nice. It also seems like it will make your waist look smaller giving you a nice shape.
I like the champagne color it will bring color to your skin whereas white may wash you out.
It is a gift from FH so it has a nice sentimental memory & story with it.
I also like the beading it is strategic and not too ornate but nicely done to add some sparkle to your dress.
I think once you try it on and have it fitted to your body and you are wearing a veil and up on the store pedestal the good feelings will come rushing back in .
I'm sorry you are having doubts -- but hey the girls on TLC go through that as well and always come out loving their gowns!

OMG I LOVE YOUR DRESS!! I would totally wear it for my weding. Its gorgeous. And I mean that seriously, no BS s*cking up. I really do love it

it's so common to have the 'what else is out there' feeling, but i think your dress is beautiful. and i like the bow - i think it is a nice accent that completes the dress.
once you have your fittings, and see the complete package with hair/makeup/DOJ i'm sure you'll get the same that feeling you did when you bought it!

i feel like most of us go through this phase, and not just with the dress but with everything in general..... i think youre dress is beautiful! really and honestly, i think you should leave it as is....a lot of times the fit makes a HUGE difference... this is what im waiting on for my gown, i know its beautiful but i cant really picture it on me yet cuz its huge, go back and give your gown a visit see how you feel then
