Going to 12th Night Tomorrow - Have Question

So my FH spoke with Domenic yesterday and being a fellow photographer they had alot to talk about.. FH said he really enjoyed talking with Domenic and he felt very comfortable talking with him.

I am leaving all photography decisions up to FH, and right now we havent called back any of the other photographers we emailed because FH is very optimistic about 12th night based on everyone's great reviews on here and his conversation with Domenic.

The one thing my FH did tell me though, if that now matter how great or how affordable 12th Night is, that he wants to make sure that I am comfortable with them, and that I would be good with spending so many hours with them... FH says I dont want to get stuck with a photographer all day who I don't click with.

I'm sure that concern would exist with any photographer... so my question is.... FH will be making the decisions on whether or not a photo vendor has the talent and availability we want (which it sounds like 12h night def. has).... but how / what as a future bride should I think about or even ask 12th night when we go to meet with them tomorrow.

My FH suggested I think up some questions.... but I really dont have a clue as to what I might ask them that would help me determine whether or not these are the people I want to spend my wedding day with.

Based on my FH conversation and the reviews here.... I am sure I will absolutely love Dom as well.... but I was just curious what I should expect / ask with any photo vendor?

thanks so much.

you are going to love Dom! We booked him on the spot without seeing anyone else. Besides his excellent work, his personality is great! Very easy to be around

good luck!

You also get an engagement shoot if you book a photojournalistic photographer as well. So take advantage of that.

I had Dom and Anthony and they were AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They were the first and only photographer I went to see and booked them on the spot. You will be so comfortable around them that the conversation will just flow.

thanks for all the great replies......

Im sure I will like them also...

but I was hoping for maybe some generic questions that you would ask any photographer from a brides point of view?

thanks

You could ask:

How many proofs does he take?
Do you get to keep the proofs?
How long is your photographer with you?

It might be interesting to ask:
How long have you been in business?
What made you want to go into wedding photography?
Are you married, who was the photographer at your wedding?

I think you will like him, he's a very outgoing and friendly person. My mom and I were both really inpressed with our meeting with him.

One thing you might ask him is to show you some pics he did at the Swan Club. It's really nice to see pics done at your venue! He showed me some he had done recently at my venue and it was nice to see his work and that he was familiar with the site. He also showed me N.Y. Brides's pics and I had seen a friend's pics beforehand.

Good luck!
