at Jericho Terrace tomorrow. Is there anything future Jericho brides would like me to report back on?

Re: Going to a wedding ...
If its in the Oak room, I'm curious as to how many table comfortably fit in there. Um, also the cake. Is it a nice one that they give you? The last thing is if the couple is getting married at the hall, was it confusing finding all of the rooms? Or are they good about directing people where they need to go? Thanks! Have a great time!

I don't know which room but if it's the Oak, I'll count tables. :) I'll let you know about cake too. They are not having the ceremony at the hall.

Janna, have you had a tasting yet? We had one, and it was great! Definitely talk to your banquet managet and set one up.

Re: Going to a wedding ...
Are you kidding me? We WALKED IN instead of having an appt and we were given an appetizer, dinner and dessert!! I think all the food they served us at our meeting and how delicious it was is what sealed the deal to make us book there right on the spot!! And this was on a Sunday evening when they had 3 events going on!!
I normally don't like prosicutto (sp?) or eggplant, but Jericho Terrace made me a convert!!!
I'm more concerned about the other things we didn't try, since most of the appetizers that we were served, FH and I don't eat, like stuffed peppers, mushrooms, etc.

Re: Going to a wedding ... (Updated)
Hi ladies,
The wedding was fabulous. The CH food was great and so was the Reception food. We had an appetizer, salad, lemon sorbet, then main course (Filet Mignon, yum!). For desert, we had a cute plate of a peice of wedding cake, a cookie, a chocolate dipped orange, some ice-cream treat, a dollop of whip cream, and a little pool of raspberry chocolate sauce. I thought that was a really unique touch. Someone asked me about the tables in the Oak Room. If the Oak room is the main hall on the top floor, then there were about 17-18 tables with about 10 seated on each. The dance floor did not seem cramped at all. The service was good and everything seemed to run smoothly. The waiters did this cute little parade around the dance floor with the champagne before the toast. The maitre'd, whom FH kept referring to as the bouncer, stood near the DJ booth surveying the whole room all night to make sure all was going as planned. Jericho brides, you have nothing to worry about. They did a really classy job.

Re: Going to a wedding ...
Thanks for the review! That dessert sounds fabulous. The oak room is actually on the lower level, but I didn't expect the wedding to be there, since it is for the smallest of weddings. Just figured I'd ask just in case it was in that room.
