Re: going to a wedding at...
i'd rather forget the drama...but i definitely know that i will avoid drama at all costs at our wedding and the events preceeding it! i will post pics later, but about the wedding...the ceremony was nice, but i thought it was odd they didnt say 'i do' or announce the first kiss as husband and wife...it was a catholic church, but i guess they picked non traditional vows. absolut dj was OK...the mc, i forget his name of course, wasnt annoying, but they didnt play a lot of current dance music---not till after the cake cutting, and most everyone left right after. people def danced more to the current music than to the classics---like mony mony and love shack, etc. i will def tell my dj i want current stuff to keep people on the floor. the food at sunset harbor was OK, nothing spectacular. my sweet potato was burnt, that was the only thing that stood out for my dinner. the coctail hour food was good. the cake wasnt too yummy, but they also had icecream, cookies, chocolate covered strawberries, more cakes, etc. a variety, but nothing great, like the cookies all tasted the same. dance floor and sitting area are smallish, so its ideal for smaller weddings. we didnt get to see the back with the water and the docks, for some reason we didnt take any pics out there, but i am sure its a nice background for pics. it was a fun night all in all. ~lacey
