Going to a wedding in September and haven't received the invitation yet.

I went to a shower on Saturday for DH's cousin who is getting married in September. I am not sure why, but NO ONE has received an invitation yet. Isn't this late for invitations to not be received yet?

8 weeks is standard...so if the wedding is the end of sept., they should be going out right about now!

I just sent mine out last week. 7.5 weeks before.

I am getting married on sept. 18th. I am sending my invites out tomorrow. Its a little late but they still have over six weeks. I also sent out STDs.

I sent mine out last Monday..I am getting married on the 25th..

I would say if you don't get it by the end of the week. I would follow-up with the bride. Maybe it got lost in the mail, etc..

its usually 8 weeks in advance right? Because you need to get back to the hall a few weeks prior with the final count right?

The end of September is 8 weeks. I got an invite to a July 24 wedding on June 30...and I know I was not B list. Some brides are more organized than others. I am sure it will be mailed shortly.

I actually sent my invites out middle of december for end of january wedding- less than 8 weeks.
I didn't think it was necessary as i sent save the dates.

I was talking about the same thing w/ FH... we are supposively going to a wedding the 3rd weekend of september (maybe the 4th weekend...can't remember) and haven't gotten an invitation yet...
