my cousin got married there back in april and it wasn't as good as i expected it to be. the service was so so and the food was blah and my salad was brown. the only thing that was decent was the beer and i say decent cause i had to drink a beer i don't like, but at least it was cold.

wow I am really suprised that is the only negative comment I have really heard about them on these boards!

My best friend got married there in Feb 2002 and I felt the same way. It was ok. But my cousin went there 2 months after my friend got married and he loved it.

I was shocked that it wasn't great. I almost wanted to look there when I was in the process of doing halls, but when I saw the price i said no way. I really thought it was gonna be better.

I guess it depends on who's working that day or night and if people are in bad moods, etc.

it was also a day wedding so maybe that had something to do with it.

I have heard nothing but good things about the sand castle...it was the nicest room that we saw...the only reason we didn't seriously consider it was because my FI lives 2 blocks away..sounds silly just a thing we have
