Going to Bikram yoga tonight for the first time

Any advice? I have all my towels packed and I'm chugging water but I'm still nervous!

Yeah...don't eat anything during the day that makes you gassy.

I'm not being silly, I'm being honest. Yoga makes people fart!

Thanks guys. I'm going to a studio in DC near where I work. Are there any good studios in Western Suffolk? If I like it I'd want to go right before the wedding- I'm from Northport. Thanks!

I went a few times back in Jan, but when my trial ran out it didn't fit in the budget. Hoping to go back at least once a week until the wedding. It was really fun and I felt good after 3 classes.. For someone more into cardio/weights it was a good shift. Bring lots of towels, lots of water, a shirt to change into afterwards so you don't freeze or sweat up the coat, and take their advice. My place always said the most important thing to do the 1st time is just stay in the room for 90 minutes! Have fun!

if you feel lightheaded or nauseous it's normal - but don't be afraid to sit down!!!! after 1 or 2 classes that won't happen anymore.
