Going to Bridal Showcase

Im going to The Meadow Clubs showcase tonight with FMIL and FFIL.

I can't wait. It will be their first time going there.

Okay, I went to this last night, and I have nothing but good thoughts and happy plans to book the meadow club ....

BUT ... *** was with the DJ people?! SOOO annoying, god, I hate DJs so much it's not even funny..blugh.

The Meadow Club was set up so nice and the food was good (except the chicken franchese that was super dry) and Im so glad they had some centerpieces set up b/c if we do book there, we will NOT have tall centerpieces b/c then you can't see ANYTHING...so that helps out alot I'm so excited to go book now!

have fun!!! i was personally not pleased with the meadow club, BUT, that could only be because i decided before i even got there that we werent having it there, so obviously that was a stupid move. I kept looking for things to not like about it... and the room that would have been ours was much too small, so i'm sure the other rooms are better suited for weddings like that.

I was there too! Were you wearing an LIWeddings tee shirt? One of my BM's is getting married there so I went with her to check it out. The place seems great!

I was not there but...we had my sister's wedding there (in the big room) and my parent's 35th anniversary in the smaller room (the one on the right when you walk in). I have to say those who book there have NOTHING to worry about. They did amazing jobs on both parties. The food, service, atmosphere. I know a few others who got married there too that loved it.

If it wasn't where my sister got married we would have looked there!

Here is a few tips that I have heard and learned.
Try not to give out you cell number because a ton of people will be calling, and make up a separate e-mail just for wedding shows, so you regular e-mail will not get killed.

No I was wearing my regular clothes b/c I dont have an LIW t-shirt (not that I would wear one) but yea everything was really nice.
