going to look at 4 places this weekend

flowerfield, watermill, hamlet windwatch and westbury manor....any thoughts?

I went to flowerfields and Westbury Manor. I like that you are the only bride there.

I love Westbury Manor. that's where I'm having my reception. i love the garden, it is absolutely beautiful

The only one of those I looked at was Westbury Manor. It's really beautiful and the staff there was SO nice and accomodating.

I loved Flowerfield, but it was just too far for my guests to travel (we are coming from Queens)
WM was also nice, but I liked a hall that was one wedding at a time. Didn't see the others.

but i went to a wedding there 4 months before i got engaged and it was beautiful. the food was amazing and the service was impeccable. FH left that wedding saying 'when we get married this is the place'

what month are you looking to get married. if you can do the winter (jan-feb) they are offering an AMAZING promotional package. FM me if you want details

I didn't like the watermill really for one reason. I hated the location...its right on the highway, I like something that is a bit more scenic. I did go to a wedding there, food was great, and the room is nice.

oh i didnt see yyou had the watermill there. i've been to 2 weddings there. the room is nice but i didnt like that i had to go down a decent flight of steps to get to the bathroom plus they do more than one wedding at a time so you hear the other party and see other people sometimes. one time i went and the food was excellent but the second time i didnt like the food at all

I am partial to Westbury Manor. I absolutely love it. It's so not the 'typical' wedding hall.

Ive been to westbury manor, flowerfield and watermill....on quite a few occasions.
Westbury manor was amazing!!! Fantastic food, service, etc. Same with flowerfield. Everything was amazing at both places.
Watermill was beautiful and the cocktail hour was good but none of us at the table (12 of us) liked the dinner. It just didnt match up to the quality of the food at the cocktail hour. Plus you were able to hear the other wedding going on.

I think all three locations are pretty. I've never been to a wedding at any of them though.

On a separate note...if you dont mind the distance...Giorgio's is having a bridal showcase with full cocktail hour on Sunday. You might want to check it out

Im biased to Westbury Manor cuz thats my RH...I did go to the watermill and felt it was very similar to WM (makes sense since they are owned by the same company!) It did come down to watermill and westbury manor for FH and we decided on westbury cuz it is soooo unique being an old mansion and it was much closer for our friends and family coming from brooklyn and queens

I loved Flowerfields. It was one of my first choices. We chose not to go with there becasue it is a winter wedding and it is pretty far out and we where scared of the driving and the weaher.
