Going to look at halls in Westchester Mon or Tue

Okay I'm thinking of going to look at these halls maybe Monday or Tuesday. If anyone has any info on them I would appreciate it. Thanks!

Fountainhead - New Rochelle
Greentree Country Club - New Rochelle
Riverview - Hastings-on-the-Hudson
Royal Regency Hotel - Yonkers

Maybe the C.V Rich Mansion if it's not too far

Fountainview---really nice place..The hall has a light show built into the walls. The glass atrium is really nice as well. Overall a nice place.

Greentree...I didnt really care for. The hall itself is nice and overlooks the water, BUT there is a beach club right outside the window and when we went to look there was a wedding going on while people were in bikinis swimming in the pool below!! The beach wasnt very impressive either. Obviously the beach club wont be open if you have a winter wedding but its something to think about.

The Fountainhead would have been my next in line pick if Glen Island hadn't worked out. I really loved the larger room-- it's fantastic. You walk in and it takes your breath away.

Did you see the smaller room at Fountainhead? Did they have gardens to take pics? Did you see the outdoor ceremony area, was it nice? Anyone get price quotes from Fountainhead or Greentree to give me an idea? Thanks!

I have two friends getting married at Fountainhead...one in July and one in October. I am very excited about it because I have heard it is gorgeous!

I saw the smaller room and wasn't as impressed as I was with the larger room. I'd say as you are having a smaller wedding, if you booked with Fountainhead and got the smaller room, use plenty of candle light to warm up the space. The staff is very friendly and courteous! Good luck!

Since your up in Westchester you might also want to take a look at VIP Country Club. I had went to a wedding there about 2, maybe 3 years ago and it was really wonderful.

Good luck!

I live in Westchester so I can give you some advice.

I know a lot of people who get married at the Fountainhead and have heard it is very nice, but I have not actually been to a wedding there.

Greentree Country Club - I had my prom there and from what I can remember it was very nice. A friend of the family got married there a year or two ago and my parents said it was a lovely wedding.

Riverview - I went to go look at this place when my friend was getting married and in my opinion, and this is just my opinion, I thought it was disgusting. There was just nothing special and I didn't like the room at all.

C.V. Rich Mansion - I would DEFINITELY go see this place. I looked at it and I really thought it was nice. It is something totally different, so it just depends on your taste. I did not like the bathroom situation though, but it was very nice and I have heard the food is delicious. From the outside it doesn't look nice, but the inside is really nice.

Also check out Glen Island in New Rochelle, a few brides on here have gotten married there. My cousin got married there and it was the best wedding I have been to. They really put on an elegant affair, lots of food and great service.

If you want any more advice FM.

Hey! I live in Westchester County too. The Fountainhead was my first choice. It is gorgrous! We're expecting 200 guests so the main ballroom had more than enough room to accommodate us. When I called to set up an appointment my date was available only to find out when I went to see the place that someone had booked it a day before We were quoted for $95 for a sunday evening and $115 for a saturday evening during memorial day weekend. Hope this helps!
