Neil Diamond wrote many of the songs sung by the Monkees on their TV show. 'I'm a believer'

He wrote and sang Red Red Wine (covered by UB40 in the 80s)

OMG Amy, my brother wanted to kill me tonight. He was going to listen to Motley Crew at Jones Beach, from outside the theater, I said oh, I didn't know you liked them, someone from LIW was selling them for the past week. He wanted to rip my head off!!

Selling them! I would have given them away! I ended up going with my MIL and her friends.. OMG - I did not have a good time. I only knew shot at the devil and then we left at intermission. The concert started at 6 but they didnt even go on until 8:30! I was like - forget this! They had good effects though. Smoke and fire etc...
