hey ladies...just got back!

I don't know if FH and I were just in weird moods, or if the woman we met with was just 'ok', but we both were a little ehhhhh....i donno.....we just thought they were ok. Don't get me wrong, they gave us a great price, and the pics are beautiful.

I just feel that I'd rather meet the photographer one on one. Not have him/her chosen for us. I just want to have that 'THIS IS IT' feeling when we book ya know?

who did you meet with? When I met with them the woman asked what type of pictures we want and when I told her she recommended a photographer and said we can do our engagement shoot with him and if we don't like him we can switch. Which location did you go to?

She told us that during the e-pic shoot they will decide who will best work with us.

I definitely understand what you mean...I am sure if you knew exactly who your photographer would be and get to look at their work then it would be easier...Patken does have great pics though but go with your gut

Yeah don't even think about it right now...Wait until after you meet with the other 3 photographers you are going to meet with and see how you feel about them.

I wasn't impressed. They have great pictures but I personally feel as though we were 'lost' in the crowd. Everyone has different expectations and taste. Don't worry you will find one!

I love Patken!!! I met witht he same women at mineola and felt the same way. Then I spoke with doug (the owner) directly and he was amazing. then I met Vinny, our photographer, at a bridal show and he was amazing! We were laughing the entire time. Vinny is great b/c he gets those contemporary shots and the traditional photos. youhave to fall in love with the photographer. I met with ADA, Jovan, Duet, etc and none of them did anything for me. I loved patken. Everyone is different and you have to go with your gut!!!

i havent heard the greatest things about the people at that location ... i booked with them but i went to the lindenhurst location ...and jsut so you know you can pick your photographer if yoou really want ... that was part of my negotaing!!
