I love Patken!!! I met witht he same women at mineola and felt the same way. Then I spoke with doug (the owner) directly and he was amazing. then I met Vinny, our photographer, at a bridal show and he was amazing! We were laughing the entire time. Vinny is great b/c he gets those contemporary shots and the traditional photos. youhave to fall in love with the photographer. I met with ADA, Jovan, Duet, etc and none of them did anything for me. I loved patken. Everyone is different and you have to go with your gut!!!

vinny is my photographer too!!!! I just went last night for engagement shoot ....

Yea we went there and booked and then our photographer was picked out for us (patken) I was less then thrilled and really thought of cancelling the contract but i met with the photographer and things were good. I would personally really go on reviews here and demand to have a particular photographer this way its in your contract unlike me.

yeah i want to hear about it - mine are soon!

andrea - as much as i am passionately in love with Patken if you didnt feel great about it - then definitely try somewhere else! you dont want to feel ehhh about your photog - when i went, my MOH and I were crying at the pictures and video, it was embarassing - and i also felt comfortable with the woman who helped us so i knew right away!
