going to pedestals tonight and...

i have no idea what i want for flowers!! were you girls really specific with what you wanted when you signed the contract?

i had a pretty good idea of what i wanted...i brought pictures with me to show them. From those pics we came up with some great ideas.

However, you dont really have to decide what you want exactly yet. They will tak to you and get some ideas about what you want so they can give u a price, but you can upgrade or downgrade whenever u want. The contract is not binding you to those flowers its just booking that person for the day.

I booked with Burton's and they didn't need anything specific out of me when I signed my contract because they don't charge the way other florists charge. Basically, it doesn't matter what flower I choose, same price regardless.

i didn't know what kind of flowers i wanted when i went there, but i knew the kind of colors i wanted.. pedestals has tons of sample centerpieces on display which is a huge help.. we looked around and got ideas from the samples and came up with what we wanted... i don't think you have to be specific when you sign the contract... they probably write down the specifics after they do your sample centerpieces & you alter it to your liking

I had a pretty good idea... but I have since changed it

With all the florists I met with, they pretty much said that you can change your mind up until 2-3 weeks before the wedding, so nothing is set in stone until then. You can change the number of things and the designs until a few weeks before, so even if you sign a contract with them it won't be totally final like it would be for another vendor.

I didnt have an exact idea, but Ginny pulled my style out of me. She showed me a ton of pics i showed her my pics and we meet in the middle and i love my center pieces and everything else she is showed me! She was the best

when i went to pedestals all i knew is that i wanted roses. I had no idea of the color or style or arrangement or anything. The person i met with gave my FMIL and I suggestions then she went in the back and made a little mini bq and it looked great
