I didnt need reception cards either. I know one thing you want to pay attn to is teh quality of teh paper. make sure it isnt tooooo flimsy. I was told that the style of the invite lets the guests know what type of wedding you are having. The paper should be sturdy. When I was looking at mine, the colored ink was extra, lined envelopes were extra, thats pretty much all I can think of..I dont know if its helpful or not..but Im trying! Oh..and to have the return address was also extra.

I found it to be quite confusing actually - there were tons and tons of books. I thought I wanted one style of invite but in the end FH & I decided on something completely different.
I would suggest - leave lots of time to look thru the books, and spend some time looking on line first to get an idea of what you both want.
The good part about going to look at the books is that you can feel the weight of the paper, look at colors, styles and sizes.
I went to Papier in Huntington Village and the owner, Maria, was very helpful and patient with us.
