Going to see a florist tonight

It still early for me, but I literally have no idea about flowers so hopefully I'll be able to get some ideas. Is there anything specific that I should ask or looks for?

You can take a picture of your reception room. That way your florist can get a feel of the room. Also do you want high or low centerpieces or maybe even mix. It all depends what you like. Good luck!

not too early at all! where are you going??? I had no idea of what I wanted until I met with Robert @ Pedestals...He made everything so easy!

I'm going to see Simply Stems. Cecilia has been great, we've been FMing each other back and forth. She will be seeing my venue this week, and her partner has been there as well.

In definitely want 'rustic' type flowers, and all I know are roses and orchids! I have no idea what looks good or any other types of flowers really.

I'm going to see Simply Stems. Cecilia has been great, we've been FMing each other back and forth. She will be seeing my venue this week, and her partner has been there as well.

In definitely want 'rustic' type flowers, and all I know are roses and orchids! I have no idea what looks good or any other types of flowers really.

they were the first florist i went to - very sweet. you'll enjoy it.

Thanks! I read about you going with Signature, I figure I'll make an appointment with them too. I really need to save some money on these flowers, we splurged in so many other things!

I booked with them, they are wonderful! They have amazing vision and talent, plus since they work out of their house, VERY reasonably priced!

I have heard good things about Simply Stems and I planned on visiting them until I met with my florist. You may want to take a pic of the BM dresses (if you have picked it out). I didn't bring much with me and was able to come up with good ideas. Good luck and let us know how it goes!

I had no idea what I wanted, either except for colors. The florist totally knew what he was doing and explained everything to us. I was so relieved to have someone plan that stuff for me!!

It went great! Cecilia was so amazingly sweet and helpful! I felt like I was being a total pain in the butt because I wasn't sure what I wanted, but she totally fed off my ideas and showed me some different flowers. We met for over an hour, and she was so incredibly helpful. She also said she had no problems making up a sample and bringing it to my hall to see if it goes with the look I'm trying to achieve.
