going to see M-I-A tonight - updated!

wish me luck!

ugh i dont even have pics of what i want im trying to search while im at work but im too busy today!!

im going to bring my pedala trial photos with me and show her what i like and don't like about it - i am def going to try diff colors tonight - probably more toward the brown/bronze tones like in my other trial......

i just wish i wasnt going so late - its going to be hard to see how it looks in natural sunlight since it will be dark out......booo!



ETS: update on bottom, i will upload some pics when i get home from work

BTW...even though you want to see it in natural light if your ceremony starts at 6pm it'll already be dark outside come Dec. 5th. So you'll be seeing the make-up in the light that you'll most likely be in for that day.

OMG me too......of course I cant find any pics of what I want now and I have no time but I want to bring them just to give him an idea.

i def like dark around my eyes - def liner on top and bottom - i was thinking maybe either shades of brown or maybe gray (i did gray in my bpics and liked it, but that was a bit to dramatic for the wedding) i just dont want to look washed out and sometimes gray has that effect on me - i like very smokey directly around the eyes and not to much shadow past the crease - i have a large space between my lids and brows and i dont like when its filled in with a lot of shadow - i like when that is more natural and just around my lid and lashes is dramatic - if that even makes sense!

yeah but our pics are in the afternoon - and AG uses lots of natural light and no flash for most of her portrait photos - so i want my make up to look good in those pics - and not look like a hooker

well i am at work so i dont have any pics with me

BUT

*** is really sweet! and patient I probably drove the poor girl nuts - I didn't really know what I wanted - I just knew I wanted to try something different than the last trial.....we ended up playing around with the eyes A LOT she used like dark browns, and it was kind of smokey/smudgey and she added some shine to it (that is what we ended up with at the end of the trial) - by the end i felt like the eyes looked perfect (and i def felt like it looked like i had on lots of eye make up) but in pictures it didn't look like i had a lot of make up on at all - in flash photos it was very natural looking, kind of blended in....when we started, it was a lot darker and the liner was more harsh and you were able to see the make up in the pictures but i felt like in person it was just too much for me - my eyes are pretty light so a little make up goes a long way on my eyes - and sometimes it makes me feel trashy or like a drag queen so even though i want the make up to show up in photos i also want to look nice in person KWIM? but my photog - i have so much faith in her that even without ANY make up i am sure she'd make me look good so i guess i just have to decide exactly how deep to make the eyes - i think it would be easier to tell during the day also - i left at 10pm so it was dark out, my apartment was dark, everything was dark id really like to see it during the day and outside in the sun.....

but anyway, after all that rambling....i am going to book her - i emailed her this morning and told her when i go for my hair trial i want to stop in and see her one more time - that way i can see how the make up holds up through the day (i went to bed when i got home so i didnt really wear it long - and because we played around so much it was getting f'd up a little bit between all the taking off and re-applying)

i felt like a bridezilla though, b/c i kept asking her to change stuff! i felt bad but she was so patient and really sweet and took my direction well - she listened to me which i liked

I'm glad you got what you wanted in the end. Don't feel like a birdezilla...you just want to look your best on your day!

You know we all can't wait to see pics!
