OMG the houses were horrible! One of them has so much property. I am actually considering gutting the whole house and re-doing it just to get that property. We are seeing 2 more tomorrow.

What areas did you look in today?? When DH and I went to see houses for the first time, we felt the same way. The house on the property was so small, but the property was enormous. That is seriously one of the most important things to me about finding a house. I want a HUGE piece of property!!

Me too. I don't want to be on top of my neighbors. I searched all day in Mt. Sinai, Stonybrook, Setauket, and Wading River and found NOTHING. It's depressing.

I was all over today - Lake Grove, Lake ronkonkoma, centereach, Selden. Going back to Ronkonkoma tomorrow Not sure if I like Ronkonkoma,

Exactly! It takes a while to find that right house but it is out there, don't lose faith!

I'm back again!

We saw some nicer houses today. One in particular I LOVE. My FH doesn't like it though because it is a cape and he is too tall to fit upstairs because of the slanted ceilings. But everything else is perfect. I wonder how much is costs to blow out the top of a cape
