Sorry to crash your board ladies but you guys would probably be the best to ask... Where should I go to look for a dress? Where should I stay away from? I know a lot of girls have said that they had good customer service up until the time they ordered but then the alterations have been a horror show. I'd love any advice! TIA!

I got my dress at RK bridal and had a great experience. However, you need to do some homeworlk before you go there. The dresses are laid out my designer. So when I got there I already had a list of dresses that I was interested in, complete with the designer and style number.
It's a great place to browse - no appt necessary.

I have had nothing but perfect service from Lidia's in Copiague. I ordered my dress and my seven bridesmaids dresses there and they have been great!
