Going to the Donkey Show-Any opinions?

My bridal party is taking me to the donkey show for my bachelorette party on the 12th. What is it? Is it fun? Has anyone been there? How long is the show?
Is there food or any place nearby to eat dinner?
I checked their website and it doesn't really say much except that its like a disco show.

I went there for my sisters B party(2 yrs ago). Its a club actually that does a show...a skit of the 70's and Studio 54. Its not done on a stage......the show takes place all around you. Kind of interactive with the audience. Its pretty cool! The show is about an hr...I think. There is a bar...no food.
After show is done it turns into a club. You can stay there and dance the nite away.

Have a good time!!!

Its a fun time but its very expensive and I don't think its worth what it ends up costing in tickets and drinks. As the bride, I felt guilty about it. Plus, its ALL bachelorette parties so the specialness of being the bride is sort of lost since everyone is in the same situation.

But its still fun and good time if those things don't bother you.

we went just for the heck of it and we had buy one get one tickets and actually saw the karoke show and then the donkey show so it was well worth it..you just dance and sing along with the songs and you drink..which can get expensive..i would drink before going to save on money..i enjoyed it and thought it was a great show..great music..have fun

Drink before you go as a corona is almost $7...or close to that a few years ago.

Show is a good time and even though there are a lot of B-parties- there is a bunch of good energy around and people looking to have a good time.

It's a relaly trippy and immersive version of 'A Midsummer Night's Dream.' DOn't get a table..the price and drink minimum are not worth it, plus you want to be on the floor, dancing with the hotties in the middle of the action..Get there early to see half naked hotties dancing on blocks... Drinks are VERY expensive. It's fun to hang out for about an hour after for some disco dancing, beyond that it's eh. I don't know of anywhere great around there..we've always just eaten at the diner on 21st and I think, 8th...

The donkey show's definitely an experience...

I agree, I went with my best friend and it was fun but a little odd. You'll have lots of fun though. If I remember correctly, Lot 61 is right across the street (I think it's still open)

Thanks everyone! Wow, the show is only an hour and it's gonna cost $75 for a table which includes 3 drinks. That is a lot!
At least I know I won't be out for a long night in the city.

DON'T do the table. The table is far form teh action, it's up on a balcony and you miss everything, you miss the fun of dancing and being in the middle. The show IS expensive..but I would check this out..on Saturday night s before the Donkey Show, they used to have this AWFUL piece of crap called 'the Karaoke Show.' (I don't know f they still have it, iw ould chekc it out)...The only good thing is that tickets to the Karaoke Show were only $25, and after the hourrlong show, for 20 minutes you stand at the bar while they change the set and then you get to STAY for the Donkey Show for free...so you ave to sit through the crappy, but mildly entertaining Karoke Show, but you get into the Donkey SHow for much cheaper...just a little trick...Also the Karaoke Show was such a piece of poop that they can't pack it, so often they have nights where it's free or buy one get one free...so I've never actually paid a cent to see the Donkey Show...just FYI
