Going to the Halloween Parade!!!! Can someone give me more info!? And who's going!!??
So Fh and i decided to save some $$ and just dress up and go the halloween parade in the city. I've never been, and I thought it would be so cool to finally check it out. Can someone tell me more info, like, what streets in the Village are the good spots, if anyone wants to meet up, what you're wearing to the parade etc.

FH & I went last year. my brother had a float in the parade. you have to get their really early if you actually want to see anything.
i heard that there are a lot less people participating this year because they cut the budget.

as far as what to wear, some people go all out & buy or make professional costumes. others just throw something together. you always end up with a couple of naked people.

we're going. dont want to go.. but its somethign fh wants to do..so im just going to be nice about it. i doubt im dressing up tho. if i do, i have to wear heels..and im just not going to walk around in 5 inch heels lol

friends of mine are going.. I REALLY want to go too, but FH does not want to go AT ALL! He hates halloween and he hates the city.
I keep telling him its our LAST halloween before we're an 'old married/boring couple'... he doesn't seem to be buying that one.
my friends are going to the parade then doing a bar crawl. I was told you buy a cup for like $10.00 and as long as you have that beers are only $2.00 each.

i go every year...i don't think i'm going to go this year though...it's sooooo much fun, the costumes are unbelievable..pace yourself, bring FLATS!!! trust me!! it's soooo crowded
