Crashing - I hope you don't mind lol It's a wedding but it's not REALLY a wedding and its during the day so I figured I could wear nice pants and a dressy top or I may go with a skirt. I think some people will get really dressed up and some will be a tad more casual - I don't think you can go wrong. I'll prob wear a skirt depending on my mood in the morning. Is this a bad philosophy??? lol I want to play it safe.

Ron, the host and creator of this event has posted all over the boards that the dress code for this event is the same that you would wear to a real Saturday afternoon wedding. Think about it - the bride is wearing a real wedding dress, the bridesmaids are wearing real BM dresses, the guys wil all be wearing tuxes, the flowers will be real, the CPs will be real, there will be a real DJ and a real band and real food etc. Just because the bride and groom are already married doesn't mean that renewin their vows isn't just as important to them as saying them the first time was . . . the difference is they don't have to pay for it all.

yeah, i absolutely agree w. u 100%.
im not going [obviously] but if i was, i'd get dressed up as if i was going to a wedding, maybe slightly more casual since its treated like a sat afternoon wedding.
i think even though people call it a mock wedding, preshy7 and her Dh and evreryone in the Bp are gunna be dressed up! why not get drssed up!!

Ok whew ... all I know is I'm ready to have a good time! There will be a lot more interesting things to discuss than what the 'guests' are wearing. Like the hall, food, bride and groom, vendors, my new diamonds etc. I cannot wait! See you all tomorrow.

Its hard dressing with a belly and some extra weight.

Not sure what I'm wearing yet but I'm excited to finally meet everyone since I've never been to a GTG. DH actually said he's excited too

Kathleen, it is too cold for me to go in a skirt. CLM is by the water and I dont handle cold well. I am wearing a suit with slacks and a shirt that says this:
underneath.

Yea Deb, I didn't know you were going either. I'm in that awkward stage where my regular sweaters look weird, so I'm taking out my first maternity shirt w/ black pants....not too dressy though
