Gonna Kill DH: Take 2

Aaaaction:

There are very few restaurants at which I can eat and escape a mild allergic reaction (stomach pain or hives). I declared two weeks ago as being the last time that I'd try to go to a grown up restaurant that wasn't for people with special needs.

So not only has DH kept asking me to go to eat French food with his friends, he scheduled dinner with people for tonight. For some type of Asian food. I'm ******* allergic to SOY, you putz.

I threw the biggest b1tch fit last night while he was on the phone to finalize plans and he said, 'Aren't you embarrassed to be acting this way?' Don't make me puke on you. I refuse to apologize - you don't get sick so screw you all.

I'm going to be in rare form tonight. <---b1tchy smile.

hmmm hmmm hmmm

why don't you lean into everyone while they are eating to you can 'smell' good food while you eat steamed rice.

maybe that'll give them the hint...stick you nose right in the plate and say how 'GOOD' it must be

Trust me, that'll happen as I eat yet another overpriced bowl of lettuce.

I suggest you do the following



Teach them for trying to take you to a soy filled environment

You are a better person than I am - I would stick it to him, make him go alone, and the hold out on sex for at least a week. I am evil and vindictive , but that is why Dh only takes me to Panera Bread. He knows better than to attempt any other places.

I prefer verbal torture. Plus holding out sex wouldn't work; I'd probably forget that I was withholding.

DH and I never eat at restaurants anymore; the whole free world knows about my allergies - these 'friends' tonight are actually his family members. Who are really attentive and selfless.

Oh no he didn't! Not nice! Any chance there is something he can't eat that you can serve a t a dinner party or something?

This is how I feel about 'Relax'

- this is me plotting his death when he says that

This is what makes me homicidal - he ate like me for two weeks. No bread products whatsoever. NO dairy, NO soy, no soups; he read every single label. He knows what I deal with.
He gets the walrus tonight.

And truthfully - I wasn't embarrassed. But I knew that saying 'I'm actually quite proud of my behavior' would have taken the fight to the next level and I was too busy writing a story to help him get over it.

When DH says something insensitive like that, I just tell him he's a **ck and stop speaking to him for as long as it takes.

You need to find something that induces vomiting, like activated charcoal, and slip it into his food. And as he spends hours heaving in the bathroom, say, 'Aren't you embarrassed to be acting this way?'

When you walrus, and he says- Aren't you embarrassed to be acting this way?', you can say 'wouldn't you be embarassed if I shoved these up your dardar?'
You should politely order something you could eat, that they definitely don't serve. When the waitress says 'We no have that', you should look confused, and say- 'that's impossible, why else would I be here?' then continue to order things they don't serve.
