Dude I great up on the other side of that bridge. Small world! Everyone pretty much mentioned the good parts of Queens. I'm all for Forest Hills though...gonna miss it when I leave next year!

if ur looking to rent.. i would seriously consider just buying a 1 bedroom co op. for a lil bit more $ u cna own instead of renting.
good neighborhoods near the cross island- whitestone and bayside.
near gcp- fresh meadows.
jamaica estates is nice, too but its untouchable unless you have major dough.

jamaica estates and forest hills! (the houses are on the pricey side BUT the rates have gone down a bit because of the economy, take advantage of it!)

We live in Kew Gardens but will be heading out to the island. Close to Forest Hills and Austin Street for shopping and close to GCP. We are looking to sell/rent our place, Take a look thought maybe you would be interested Apt
