Flowers By Burton are pretty reasonable.

As for reasonable photography, Regal Photography in Lynbrook has very reasonable prices but we never actually went to make an appointment with them. We saw their work at a bridal show (it looked very good!). I know there are some brides using them on the boards.

Twelfth Night is probably as expensive as everyone else but you don't pay for the album until afterwards which brings down the cost up front. Their work is amazing. Lots of Twelfth Night brides on the boards :)

Good luck

Mockawetch Florist in new hyde park is a small, family owned florist. They did my sister's summer '02 wedding - really gorgeous, natural looking arrangements (hand tied bouquets and 2 dozen roses or so in a large glass bubble vase as the centerpieces). Their prices are the best i've seen advertised. Feel free to FM me if you have any questions.

I recommend LA Blossom, she's great to work, her prices are reasonable, plus she's willing to work within your budget, she's honest and has the patience of a Goddess..

I just sighned with Duet for photos, thier awsome! I found a florist that did my friend's wedding. His name is Eric and he works out of this little house converted into a florist, he charges very little $$ and your not paying for the fancy storefront. It's up to you guys, I know he can do whatever you want. I am very picky! His # is 917-482-6735, he's in College Point. Tell him Cathy V reccomended you. Good Luck guys!

I second this a thousand times over! And I am using a freelance photojournalist whose work is AMAZING. I can give you her info if you'd like.
