Good firends of ours just had a baby...need gift ideas

to send to the hospital. FLowers are kinda boring, and I called Florie's Finales to have a cookie tray sent, but it wont get there until Monday and that's when she's being released....any ideas?

I have to say that when my BF had both her dinners I made her a couple of full dinners so that all she had to worry about we reheating and not cooking. Both she and her husband told me that they were the best presents that they received because it allowed them to relax, dinner was made and the left overs were lunch.

They told me, that though they APPRECIATED EVERYTHING that they received how difficult it was to bring all that stuff home and new born.-- just a thought.

Otherwise, something really special, what about one of those nices throws with the baby's name and date of birth embrodiered on it.

They have all kinds of things made into bouquets for every occassion made out of candy. Also home made dinner are always great bought to the house or even bring her some take out to the hospital. MY best freind could not stomach the hospital food, when she had her daughter so we got her take out.
