good flower quote? x post

I went for my first florist appt today at Burton's. I don't want to spend more than $1500. I really only want to spend $1000 but don't think that is possible. ANy tips on getting it cheaper?

Is this a good quote:

1 MOH boq
5 BMs boq
Bride Bog
2 corsages for mother
2 corsages for grandmothers
groom flower
2 best men flowers
5 gm flowers

18 low pieces (any flowers I want)

Includes delivery
petals on tables

$1875

I really don't want to spend this much. blaaaaah hate flowers.

She mentioned FG, but not the other stuff. Good question. Did you use Burton's? how were the flowers? I dont like that I can't see a sample beforehand.

they wont do a sample? I didnt get 1 either but I know ppl who used Burtons and had 1 made. Stupid me didnt even think to ask. I did like what I got....the girls and my flowers came out great. The CP ahhhhh not what I wanted but again I didnt really sit w/ them and give them full detail on my vision. All I did say was I want flowers and no fillers like greens and NO babys breath.....I did end up w more green AND baby breath... which didnt make me very happy but at that pt there wasnt much I could do after all it was my wedding day!

Oh they also made my church pew bows in my price quote...but i ended up bringing my own ribbon there bc I already bought it (for the pews and for my and the girls flowers)

They only do a sample after you pay. I'd like to see what they are going to do for me before paying just to make sure I like it!
