Can anyone recommend a good jeweler who isn't crazy expensive, but honest - in NYC diamond district or Nassau County?
I was thinking of going to Tri-County in Levittown because there are a ton of booths there, but need to make sure we are getting a good deal!
We went looking at the Karat Shop yesterday and well, I found a ring I loved - I wasn't too sure of the honesty - kinda felt like he just wanted the sale....

My FH got my ring at Jewelry by Steven which is located on Park Avenue in Long Beach. He is amazing. I have known him for many years and I have never seen something that comes out of his store that is not perfect!

DH bought my E-ring at Leder's Jeweler's in RVC. His father goes there ALL the time for stuff for MIL. As for Tri-County, Turkan Jewelers and Gabriel Jewelers are great people with good prices and are both legit.
I second gabriel jewelers. I didn't get an e ring from there but my ex got me a necklace yrs ago and it was amazing

HEEHEEEE Ivy! Me and FH went looking yesterday! :) it's definately a start!
we went looking in August and then again last week. now the countdown and waiting starts..... lol. we picked our date though I still cannot wait until I can say I am officially engaged... it's really sad I can't wait to change my facebook status.... lol
